Total number of private banks in Switzerland 2011-2022
The total number of private banking institutions in Switzerland decreased considerably between 2011 and 2022, despite a stagnating number in recent years. In 2022, there were five private banks in the country, the same as in the previous years and eight less than in 2011. During this period, this decrease was also seen in the total number of banks operating in Switzerland.
