Key management personnel (KMPs) are persons authorized to plan, direct or control the activities of the entity directly or indirectly, according to the Australian Accounting Standards Board AASB124. KMPs are entitled to influence at the entity level, meaning that they participate in organization-wide decisions with the CEO. They are often functional heads, e.g. head of operations or head of finance.
