Indian private airlines passenger traffic FY 2008-2022
During financial year 2022, private Indian airlines carried nearly 76.8 million passengers. In the previous fiscal year, there was a huge decrease of over 62.7 percent in comparison to the preceding year, mainly due to the coronavirus pandemic. Fiscal year 2019 saw the highest passenger traffic in the examined time period.
