The number of flight hours performed by Indian private airlines in financial year 2022 was around 1080 thousand hours. This was composed of services on both domestic and international routes. In financial year 2021, there was a decrease in the number of flying hours by around 53 percent mostly due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
