The consumption of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Italy amounted to 138,000 metric tons in July 2023, after increasing steadily over the past few months.
The coronavirus pandemic had a significant impact on the consumption of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Italy. When the Italian government imposed a national lockdown, limiting all non-essential movements, to slow down the outbreak of the virus, the consumption of LPG dropped to the record-low of 37,000 metric tons in April 2020.
