Disabled workers share South Korea 2007-2023, by sector
In 2023, disabled workers accounted for around three percent of the private workforce in South Korea. The employment rate for disabled workers had risen over the years. According to the source, it was mandated by law for government organizations to have disabled employees make up at least 3.6 percent of the total employees. As such, public employers generally had a higher share of disabled employees, though the private sector has now pulled ahead.
