Iceland: number of new commercial vehicle registrations from 2014-2021
The registrations of new light commercial vehicles in Iceland increased from 2014 to 2016 but then began to drop off again, starting in 2018, with new registrations nearly halving between 2018 and 2020. A similar trend could be observed for commercial vehicles and heavy commercial vehicles. However, for heavy commercial vehicles the growth continued into 2018, before new registration numbers began to decline. In 2021, the new light commercial vehicle registration was recorded at 1,595.
