Inbound hotel guests by continent Netherlands 2023

The number of international hotel guests in the Netherlands rose significantly in 2023 compared to the previous year. That said, it did not catch up yet with the figure recorded in 2019, before the impact of COVID-19. Overall, both before and after the onset of the health crisis, Europe represented the leading inbound market in the Netherlands based on the number of hotel guests, with roughly 11.3 million hotel guests coming from that region in 2023.

- Asylum seekers and seasonal employees.
