The recycling rate of municipal waste in Norway stood at 41.2 percent in 2022. This represented an increase in comparison to the previous year, when the Nordic country recorded its lowest recycling rate since 2010, at about 37 percent. Meanwhile, figures reached a record high in 2015, when Norway recycled nearly 43 percent of its municipal waste.
