Public approval rating of Nigel Farage in the UK 2016

This chart shows the public approval rating of Nigel Farage as leader of the UK Independence Party in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. According to the source 23 percent of all respondents approved of his work, whereas 45 percent of those surveyed disapproved. In conjunction with Farage's approval rating sorted by age, acclamation was especially high among respondents over the age of 55 and highest among respondents aged 65 and older, with 29 percent approving his leadership of the UK Independence Party. In contrast, more than half of respondents aged 18-34 disapproved of his work, merely 21 percent judging his actions favorably. Approval ratings were lowest among 35-44 year-olds, with only every fifth respondent considering his leadership positively. With approval ratings sorted by gender Nigel Farage was most popular among male respondents, holding approval ratings of 28 percent, compared to 19 percent of female respondents. Almost half of all female respondents disapproved of his leadership.
