General account education and science expenditures Japan FY 2015-2024
For the fiscal year 2024, the initial budget of the Japanese national government's general account for education and science expenditures was set at around 5.47 trillion Japanese yen. In the previous fiscal year, the revised budget was finally recorded as about 8.51 trillion yen.
The education budget is one of the largest budgets of the national government's general account and focuses on the promotion of culture, education and science in Japan.
