This statistic illustrates the findings of a survey on the distribution of individuals who use online market places in order to shop online in Belgium as of April 2016, by frequency. During the survey period, it was found that eight percent of Belgian respondents reported that they use such e-commerce sites to buy or sell products and services from or to third parties, two or three times a week.

"D79.3 For each of the following activities, please tell me if it is an activity that you do, or not, on the Internet. Use online marketplaces, e-commerce websites where you can sell and buy products and services provided by multiple third parties (e.g. you can buy clothes, books, travels from different brands and different sellers, or sell these products and services)."
