Between 2013 and 2022, the total value of the shadow economy from under-declaration in Italy slightly increased. According to data, the value of the untaxed economy reached 100 billion euros in 2022, ten billion euros more compared to 2021. In the same year, the total value of untaxed economy in Italy was equal to about 182 billion euros.
