Cruise passenger movements in Mediterranean ports 2000-2023

The total number of cruise passengers at MedCruise member ports in the Mediterranean Sea increased significantly in 2023 compared to the previous year, recovering from the impact of COVID-19. After declining to just two million with the onset of the health crisis, cruise passenger movements bounced back in 2022, then rose further in 2023, peaking at 33.2 million.
