As of 2018, international visitors on business trips spent approximately 4.95 billion euros, whereas 7.74 billion euros was spent by tourists that visited the Netherlands for holiday reasons. This is both an increase compared to the previous year, when roughly 7.4 and 4.8 billion euros was spent by international tourists on business or leisure trips, respectively.
