In 2022, approximately 305.9 million cubic meters of domestic potable water were sold in Singapore, compared to 148.2 million cubic meters of NEWater. NEWater is high-grade reclaimed water created by Singapore's water sustainability strategy. It is produced from treated used water that is further purified using advanced membrane technologies and ultra-violet disinfection.
