Manufacture of pharmaceutical products: personnel costs 2009-2014

The personnel costs of the basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing industry in Turkey increased by 22.3 million euros (+3.44 percent) in 2014. Accordingly, 2014 was the first time during the observed period that the personnel costs in this industry have increased in Turkey. Over the observed period, the personnel costs have been subject to fluctuation.
Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
