This statistic shows the energy mix of primary products in the European Union (EU) in 1995 and in 2017, in percentage of the total primary energy produced. It shows that the share of coal and solid fuels decreased, while the share of renewable energy increased significantly from 5 percent in 1995 to 12.6 percent in 2017.
