Most popular types of bike in the Netherlands 2014-2022, by share of new sales

In 2022, e-bikes accounted for around 57 percent of new bike sales in the Netherlands, representing an increase of five percentage points on the previous year. Meanwhile, regular city bikes made up around 23 percent of new bike sales, representing a decrease of two percentage points on 2021.
