In 2023, most inbound tourists visiting the Netherlands from Europe came from Germany. That year, roughly 7.1 million Germans traveled to the Netherlands, denoting an increase of nearly one million visitors from 2022. Meanwhile, Belgium and the United Kingdom followed in the ranking in 2023, with around 2.5 million and 1.9 million guests staying in Dutch accommodation establishments, respectively.
