The average length of stay of overseas visitors in the United Kingdom declined significantly in 2022 compared to 2021, but it remained higher than in years prior to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Overall, inbound travelers visiting the UK stayed for an average of 8.4 nights in 2022, while the average length of stay was just above seven nights in 2019.
