Value of financial intermediation outside of the banking sector in Russia 2011-2017
This statistic illustrates the value development of total non-bank financial intermediation in Russia from 2011 to 2017. Non-bank financial intermediation, also commonly known as market-based financing, is defined as credit intermediation involving activities and entities that fall outside of the regular banking system. It can be seen that the total value of the NBFI sector in Russia increased during this period, reaching a value of more than 81.1 billion U.S. dollars as of 2017.
