A global study held in 2019 showed that 31.1 percent of respondents stated that they used a smart TV with video apps to watch online video on television, making smart televisions the most popular device in this regard. However, usage of Amazon Fire TV, video game consoles, Roku, and Google Chromecast also increased between 2018 and 2019.
