In a 2015 survey, Italian teenagers who had heard of cyberbullying happening to a friend or family member were asked what they did consequently. Close to half of the teenagers communicated to the person who was being bullied, that they had their support, and almost half of the respondents answered, that they reported the cyberbullying to a trusted adult. Only seven percent answered that they did nothing.
