M3 euro area monetary aggregates from the Netherlands 2015-2019

This statistic shows the contribution to euro area monetary aggregates in M3 (including currency in circulation) from the Netherlands from the first quarter of 2015 to the third quarter of 2019 (in million euros). In the third quarter of 2019, the total contribution from the Netherlands was worth approximately 918 billion euros. The source states that "the Netherlands contribution to the monetary aggregates in the euro area is calcuated in the same way as the monetary aggregates of the euro area. This means that a full consolidation approach was followed. The respective monetary aggregates of the euro area are hence the sum of the national monetary aggregates of all EMU Member States plus the 8% of the total value of the euro banknotes in circulation that are allocated to the ECB. The flows are calculated by adjusting the changes in successive positions for breaks in series and revaluations."
