This statistic shows the level of difficulty of qualifying for a mortgage according to adults in the United States in the fourth quarter 2019, by household income. In that survey, three quarters of respondents with household income below 50 thousand U.S. dollars at the time of the survey believed that it was very or somewhat difficult to afford a mortgage at their current financial situation, while 11 percent thought it was not difficult at all.
