The turnover of the ice cream manufacturing industry in Denmark saw no significant changes in 2021 in comparison to the previous year 2020 and remained at around 95.49 million euros. In comparison to 2020, the turnover decreased not significantly by 1.3 million euros (-1.34 percent). Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
The source adds the following information: 'Turnover corresponds to market sales of goods or services supplied to third parties, it includes all duties and taxes on the goods or services invoiced by the unit with the exception of the VAT invoiced to its customer, it also includes all other charges - transport, packaging, etc.' Data coverage corresponds to code C1052 of CE Rev 2.
