Tinder is the most downloaded dating application on Android devices worldwide. As of October 2020, the app was downloaded nearly 2.6 million times. Badoo ranked second with roughly 1.8 million downloads in the evaluated period, followed by Bumble and happn. Some of the major players in the mobile dating app industry are in fact under the Match Group umbrella, including Tinder, Match.com, OkCupid, Hinge, and PlentyOfFish. Founded in 2009, Match Group generated a revenue of nearly 2.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
