Individual and group life insurances accounted for more than 40 percent of all Latin American insurance premiums in 2022. Meanwhile, from the non-life segment, auto insurance held the highest market share, at 17.1 percent of total premiums. Also during this time, non-life insurance constituted nearly 58 percent of Latin America's insurance industry.
