In the Netherlands, the quantity of alcohol consumed by teenagers increased with age. In 2019, over half of teenagers aged over 15 years old drank alcohol weekly. Furthermore, an estimated six percent of Dutch 17-18 years olds drank the equivalent of 20 glasses of alcohol every week.
