This statistic displays the number of PC games sold in retail stores in Sweden from 2010 to 2015. During the surveying period, the physical game sales decreased considerably from more than 1.5 million to roughly 417 thousands. In relation to other platforms, computer games ranked second by sales volume. PlayStation 4 (PS4) games came in first place. The retail trade revenue from sold computer games in Sweden amounted to nearly 12 million euros in 2015. In comparison to digitally sold games this was only a small proportion of the total retail sales market.
In the mentioned year, the simulation computer game 'The Sims 4', which also belonged to the best selling PC games worldwide, was sold the most in the Nordic country. The action adventure game Grand Theft Auto V - also known as GTA V - and role-playing game Fallout 4 ranked second and third respectively.
