EU: share of people who are members of sport clubs 2017, by type and age group
This statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of people who are members of a club for sport or recreational physical activity in the European Union (EU) in 2017, by type and age group. The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews and gathered data from 28,031 respondents across Europe. In 2017, it was found that 13 percent of respondents between the age of 25 and 39 years stated that they are a member of a sport club.
