Number of families in Northwest Territories on low income from 2002 to 2022
The low income measure (LIM) is a fixed percentage (50 percent) of adjusted family income where adjusted indicates a consideration of family needs. The family size adjustment reflects the precept that family needs increase with family size. A family is considered to be low income when their income is below the LIM for their family type and size.
