Distribution of moderate physical activity in the EU 2017, by age group and frequency
This statistic displays the results of a survey on the distribution of people who do moderate physical activity in the European Union (EU) in 2017, by age group and frequency. The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews and gathered data from 28,031 respondents across Europe. In December 2017, it was found that 34 percent of respondents between the age of 25 to 39 years stated that they did moderate physical activities such as carrying light loads, cycling at normal pace or doubles tennis on one to three days within the last week.
