Number of Alko stores and pick up points in Finland 2013-2023
Over the period from 2013 to 2023, the number of Alko stores in Finland increased. At the same time, the number of pick-up points supplementing Alko's store network fluctuated, but increased overall. In 2023, there were 370 Alko stores, and 118 pick up points.
Alko Inc. is the national alcoholic beverage retailing monopoly in Finland, wholly-owned by the Finnish Government. It is the only store retailing alcoholic beverages with a volume of alcohol of over 5.5 percent.
