This statistic illustrates the share of pupils and students using Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat in the Netherlands in 2016. It shows that roughly 20 percent of Dutch pupils and students, use the picture platform Pinterest. Instagram and Snapchat are being used by roughly half of the students. Other data shows that Snapchat is used most by individuals aged under 20 years old in the Netherlands. Most Dutch Instagram users are under the age of 20 as well. However, Snapchat and Instagram aren't as popular as Whatsapp and Facebook when looking at the number of daily active users in the Netherlands.
