This statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of people who are never exercise or play sport in the European Union (EU) in 2013 and 2017, by country. The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews and gathered data from 27,919 respondents in December 2013 and 28,031 respondents in December 2017, across Europe. In 2013, it was found that 60 percent of respondents from Italy stated that they never exercise or play sport.
