This statistic shows the total revenue of remote payments with a (smart)phone or tablet in the Netherlands from the second quarter of 2012 to the second quarter of 2019 (in million euros). In the second quarter of 2019, approximately 48 billion euros worth of transactions were made in the Netherlands with the use of either a smartphone or a tablet. In the Netherlands, larger Fintech-services such as Android Pay, Apple Pay and Pay from Samsung are not yet being released. Dutch banks, such as ING and Rabobank, however, support and develop new payment methods.
