England's share of people who walk once a month in rural and urban authorities 2021
In 2021, 81.2 percent of survey participants from England claimed to have gone for a walk in rural villages and hamlets at least once a month. While monthly walks for leisure were especially popular in rural hamlets, walking for travel purposes was more common in urban major conurbations during the same period.
