England's share of daily walking population in 2021, by duration and purpose
In 2021, it was found that 21 percent of survey participants from England stated that they usually spend more than two hours walking for leisure purposes. For comparison, only 7.8 percent of respondents spent the same amount of time walking for travel purposes that year.
