In 2022, the retail sales of the direct selling industry in Japan amounted to 1.5 trillion Japanese yen, remaining at a similar level as the previous years. That year, the Japanese direct selling industry represented the third largest market in the Asia-Pacific region, surpassed only by China and South Korea.
