Population watching television daily in Norway 2010-2023, by age

Watching television remained quite stable within the population in Norway in 2023, with 47 percent of people consuming TV on a daily basis. However, while the share of younger TV audiences decreased, traditional TV still gained in popularity among people aged 45 years and older. 86 percent of people in the age group 80 years and older, for example, watched TV daily in 2023, up from 81 percent of respondents in this age group in the previous year.
