This statistic displays the share of businesses' awareness of ISO 27001 in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017, by business size. A total 21 percent of all respondents were aware of the Information Security Management 27001. The majority of large firms were aware of the ISO 27001 as well, at 57 percent.
The ISO 27001 is the best-known security standard that helped organizations keep information assets secure. It provided a methodology for the implementation of an information security management system (ISMS) in an organization. It was developed by the International Standardization Organization (ISO).
