In 2020, hotels were the preferred travel accommodation among Italian business tourists. That year, trips involving hotel stays accounted for 68 percent of all business trips. Meanwhile, nearly 11 percent of business trips made by Italian travelers included a stay in rented houses, rooms, or bed and breakfasts in 2020.
