Most popular Twitter accounts in Sweden 2020, by number of followers
The football player Zlatan Ibrahimović, had the most followed account on Twitter in Sweden as of December 2020. In fact, roughly 7.2 million people followed him on the platform, which was way ahead of the environmental activist Greta Thunberg, who ranked second with roughly 4.5 million followers. The Swedish DJ and record producer, Alesso, ranked third, with nearly 2.2 million followers. Overall, musicians had a strong presence in the ranking list, which includes Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Axwell, Zara Larsson, and Sebastian Ingrosso.
