Leading YouTube channels in Sweden 2024, by number of subscribers

Reaction video channel Panda Short was the most subscribed YouTube channel in Sweden as of July 2024, with over 23.1 million subscribers. Second in the ranking was Tim Bergling, who was better known as Avicii, with 21 million people subscribed to the electronic musician’s channel. DIY/beauty channel Narins Beauty ranked fourth, with 14.7 million subscribers.

According to a 2022 survey of internet users in Sweden, seven out of every 10 respondents reported using social networks such as YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat, this highlights the popularity of media-sharing platforms in the country.The number of YouTube users in Sweden is projected to increase by 10 percent, reaching approximately 6.5 million viewers in 2025.
 

Youngest generations in Sweden are all YouTube users

As of February 2022, children aged between eight and 11 in Sweden used YouTube mainly for watching entertaining and fun content. In 2022, around 56 percent of Swedish viewers who were born in the 2010s used YouTube on a daily basis, while 65 percent of viewers born in the 2000s watched content on the platform daily.
