In 2015, a survey was conducted in Italy to investigate the main measures taken by parents to protect their children from the dangers of the Internet. According to the survey results, 56 percent of the Italian parents explained the risks related to the online world and helped their children to defend themselves. The second action put in place by parents was the limiting of access to specific websites through parental control tools.
