The number of jobs in the Dutch banking sector decreased during the period from 2010 to 2022, despite the upward trend in recent years. There were approximately 78,000 full-time jobs in the Dutch banking sector in 2022, which was more than in the previous year. "Banking" in this statistic stands for financial institutions, except insurance and pension funding. This included economic categories like monetary intermediations (such as central banks or savings banks), financial holdings, investment funds and credit granting and other financial intermediation (like financial leasing or mortgage banks).
