Residents of the United Kingdom (UK) made more than six million trips abroad to visit family and friends for between 14 and 27 nights in 2019. Similar trips lasting 28 or more nights amounted more than 2.3 million that year. The most common length of stay for such trips was between 4 and 13 nights, with 11.1 million trips.
