The confidence in the State Police has remained relatively high over the last ten years, with a peak in 2013. In 2023, the lowest figure was recorded. Still, more than half of the Italians trust the Police. The State Police, the Arma dei Carabinieri, and the Guardia di Finanza constitute the main law enforcement corps in Italy, towards which citizens share a strong degree of trust.
